It all began with a simple idea fuelled by a deep passion for creating personalised and meaningful ceremonies. As a personal Service, Celebrant Services HQ prides itself on personal attention and dedication to every detail. My approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything I do reflects my commitment to excellence and making your day, your way.

Are we free to design the day as we want it?
As with all events I am involved with, my role is to put a structure on how you want your day to flow and to incorporate your ideas and wishes. Everything included in the ceremony will be led by you. If it is a legal ceremony, then, of course, we have to include the legal structure, but everything else is totally your design.

What concerns do clients often have about hiring a celebrant?
Sometimes people believe that the traditional way of doing things is the only way. They tend to forget that it is their day and it can be whatever they want. A celebrant leads the day, nothing else. You are paying a celebrant for his or her expertise to make your day happen as you want it.

How does Hugh ensure the day is exactly as we want it?

With Hugh, from Celebrant Services HQ, you are free to design and build Your day, Your way. We will work together on the first two parts of the ceremony: the structure and the content. The third stage will happen on the day, and that is the process of delivering your day as you have designed it. This is where you trust your celebrant to include everyone who is taking part and making sure they know what they are doing. Hugh makes himself available from the first meeting and booking right through to the end of the ceremony. Then you take over!

What sets Celebrant Services HQ apart from other celebrant services?

I am in a unique position to be able to conduct Your day, Your way. Even though I am a registered minister in the Open Episcopal Church, I do not have any expectations of how couples or families would like their day to be. If anything, having the freedom to work with you within your belief system and how you choose to express yourself, either for a naming/baptism, saying goodbye to a loved one, or getting married, you will understand when you speak to me that I know this is your day.
